Tube setting on a silver pendant. Sat. Oct. 5, 1-5PM

We are excited to welcome, Lise Bouvet, as the teacher for this tube setting class. She brings many years of gorgeous stone setting experience to this opportunity to learn how to tube set stones. You will begin with a caliper, faceted stone, a piece of tube, a bur, a sheet of silver, and some setting tools to create a beautiful hand crafted silver pendant with a 3MM CZ diamond or peridot. The class will begin with making your own setting tools from a piece of steel that you will use during class and keep for your future projects. You will use the jewelers saw, a caliper, the torch, a drill, setting tools, and finishing attachments to design and make from start to finish a sterling silver pendant with a tube set faceted stone. There will be sterling silver chain available for purchase at an extra charge and all other materials are included in the class fee.

Please note: there is a prerequisite of soldering & sawing 101 or previous torch experience approved by instructor.

Class minimum is 4.
